Summary, etc. Lola Alvarez Bravo was Mexico's foremost woman photographer and a personal friend of Frida Kahlo. Lola photographed Kahlo many time during the 1940s and 1950s. This book contains 50 black and white photos taken by Bravo...some not before seen in other books. Most of the photos in this book are of Frida but it also includes photos of some of her paintings and photos of "The Blue House" where Kahlo was born, lived and died.
