Un día, la gata salta sobre la jaula y la rompe, es entonces cuando la mujer pájara sale de su prisión y vuela; aunque quieren atraparla, ella vuela para liberarse mientras todo lo demás se cae a pedazos. Este álbum ilustrado es una potente metáfora feminista de la opresión y la liberación de las mujeres; la universalidad de las ilustraciones, hechas por el artista mexicano David Álvarez, complementan e interpretan magistralmente el texto de la autora argentina Ethel Batista. |
