Creative artist Fričić, has subjected the visible world to analytical observation. This opened the way to abstract painting, which in Yugoslavia at the time was not only a precondition for aesthetic renewal but also an ideological revolution of first importance. He became engaged with technical and aesthetic means of expression. In doing so he called upon the whole heritage of Croatian art between two wars.
