Born in rural Texas, he moved early on to NYC where he worked as a writer for and advisor to local and national nonprofits providing early childhood education, health care and social services to disadvantaged populations, and legal aid and support services to the LGBTQ+ and PWA communities. He is a 2025 Pushcart Prize nominee in poetry and a past recipient of The Robinson Jeffers Foundation’s Tor House Prize for Poetry. | ||
